2010 Nurture, Outreach & Witness

Haitian Relief On January 18th & 19th, we setup the prayer tent at the end of the driveway to solicit contributions to purchase United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) health kits for distribution in Haiti following the January 12th earthquake, and invite the community to help build the kits at the January 21st spaghetti dinner.  At the dinner we served more than 100 guests and built 156 health kits (containing a hand towel, a washcloth, a nail file or nail clippers, a toothbrush, a comb and six bandaids).
